La Cultura
While it is important to focus on the language of Spanish. There is so much more than just the language, there is culture too. While Spanish is spoken in many countries, there are different dialects between each country and even with in a country. For example, in Spain they have different accents depending on where they live. In the north, it is a little bit more clear when they speak, but they may drop the last consonant at the end of words. In the south, they have a lisp. A lisp is where they have a -th sound that replaces the -c or the -s in a word. To help understand a language, it is also important to understand the culture too.
For each grade, the students will focus on 3 to 4 different Spanish speaking countries that each grade level will be focusing on in their history class.
